AS A HUMAN

Dear Octavia has always been a very shy and quiet soul. So much that she never really made any friends and preferred to be by herself, very much afraid of how others would think and treat her. Spending most of her teenage years being bullied, she continued to stay to herself and stay hidden from the world. She is very soft spoken and kind, in fact it is rare for her to ever raise her voice. Often times keeping her feelings and thoughts locked up tight scared that some one might use them against her. If some one managed to get through to her which was a very hard task they would see just what a good person she was. Boys would find her very pretty but use her emotions to get to her and often times was the subject of ridicule and bullying. As much as she tried to show that it didn't hurt her it was quite painful.

AS A VAMPIRE
When she changed into a vampire there was not much that really changed about her. She became more open to world and a little more confident in herself. Yet she always stay quiet and continued to be a submissive person. The world was open to her now and she knew she couldn't continue to hide for the rest of eternity. At first she found it very hard to control her urges around humans and living among them was difficult but with Anton's help she was able to learn to control herself.

Octavia is the only child to Alice and Alexander Tchaikovsky. Alice was a American studying abroad in Russia when she met Alexander. Their story is a simple one, they fell in love and Alice decided to stay in Russia and marry Alexander. When Alice was 23 she became pregnant with Octavia, Octavia received her name for being born on the 8th day of the 8th month. Being a young married couple was not easy, they struggled a lot with money but always managed to have food on the table. Most of what Octavia remembers of her youth is that she was well loved by her family, even if they couldn't provide her with everything she wanted.

When it came time for her to enter in school it was very difficult for her. She was often times bullied for being shy and very stand offish, her clothes were always hand me downs and never the best quality. Octavia was small in stature and as she got older quite pretty. She would catch the attention of guys but often times they would just toy with her emotions. She did well enough in school and applied herself well. Hiding in the back of the classroom hoping people wouldn't notice her and just ignore her. This seemed to work for the most part, though the bullying never really did end until she was out of school. Her high school years don't leave many fond memories for her.

Things wouldn't always be bad though, there is always a light at the end of a dark tunnel and by the time she was 17 she would go through a major change in her life. Octavia had started to work weekend nights as a waitress and every night she worked there was one man who would come in regularly and sit in her section. He was very handsome and alluring, he could pull her in with ease and after the while the two became quite friendly towards each other. One night after her shift, he had been waiting out back for her. He attacked her and proceeded to change her into a vampire. The transformation was almost unbearable, unlike any pain she had every felt before. Octavia almost didn't survive and at the time she would have wished death upon herself instead of the pain. She did however live, or else her story would end here.

The vampire named Anton, took her in as his companion. After all years of being alone can be quite dreadful. At first she hated him and couldn't stand to look at him but her feelings for him did eventually change when she realized he was all she had. Anton was a mix of kindness and cruelness to her and yet she still found herself falling for his charm. Her parents would report her missing and after a while with no luck finding her she was presumed dead. With what she had become she figured it was best to stay away from those she loved that were human. Within the year the two left Russia and eventually settled in Brookings, Nevada.

Over the next 3 years that they spent together their feelings for each other grew stronger. Though their relationship was often times questioned due to her looking young and him looking to be in his early 30's. Personality wise they were polar opposites and yet that never seemed to bother them or cause any issues with their relationship as she was very much a submissive. They managed to blend in and keep the fact that they were vampires on the down low. Making a home for themselves, working normal jobs and seemingly being normal people.

Things were looking up for Octavia that was until Anton left her one morning without so much as a good bye. Octavia was heart broken and let her emotions get the best of her, killing several humans and draining their blood. It's been a year since this happened and she did manage to pull herself together but her heart still longs for him. Life in Brookings was different then her life in Russia, at least she now had friends to lean on and who would support her. She found it hard living without Anton as he kept her sane and from slipping up, she finds it hard to fight her desires without him around still being a newly born vampire and all.
