APPEARANCE They look just like ordinary people.
HISTORY Pretty mundane, lots of fighting, lots of whining, and voila, you have the human race.
HYBRIDS Humans can be shifters, meaning part man and part beast; there is no such thing as a half vampire/half human, or part angel or demon. You're either just a human, or a shifter. Shifters have their own category below.
POWERS&&ABILITIES Humans can have special powers and abilities, however if you have a power you're considered gifted, which also has it's own category below.
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Normal people are physically pretty weak when you compare them to those with powers or to different species. Aside from being squishy, mortals have to deal with their mortality and the fact they can actually die. Thus, they get to be pretty whiny, though there are a select few who have wonderful personalities and can be a pretty tasty snack to something.
RELATIONSHIPS Mortals can have relationships with whatever they want, however they cannot become pregnant from a vampire, angel or demon. So any sexy times with these species will result in NOTHING HAPPENING.

APPEARANCE They look just like ordinary people.
HISTORY They have the same history as mortals do- no one really knows when people started getting supernatural powers or abilities, and it's only been in recent years that people have begun to try to understand and hunt down those with them.
HYBRIDS Gifted are just gifted, it's very rare that they will be shifters. Very, very, very rare. There are no half-vampire and half-gifted, or part angel or demon hybrids out there.
POWERS&&ABILITIES The powers and abilities that gifted can have are located here. Generally, people will only have one power or ability- in some extreme cases they can have a second, but much weaker power.
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Gifted can have anything between extreme strength and indestructible skin to the ability to juggle fireballs and shoot water from their fingertips. That being said, all powers come with unique weaknesses, in the form of aversions to types of herbs, metals or, y'know, having your head chopped off.
RELATIONSHIPS Gifted can have relationships with anything and everything; having a relationship with a mortal or shifter can result in a pregnancy (though it's more common for a mortal woman to conceive than a gifted). There cannot be any gifted-vampire/angel/demon babies.

`` SHIFTERS ;

APPEARANCE They look like ordinary people when they're in their humanoid forms, but they can also take on the forms of animals; anything from bears, wolves and cats to slimy things with scales and creepy-crawly things with excessive limbs. Generally, their animal forms are a bit smaller in size to their normal, wild counterparts.
HISTORY Shifters have been around since the dawn of time, as toys of the Gods. They were once humans who were interbred with animals by the Gods, and voila, shifters were the results. Once thought to be connected to the lunar cycle and the rotation of the earth, it's been proven that shifters can and will shift on their own, whenever they want.
HYBRIDS Shifters are hybrids, for the most part. Half human and half beast. In rare, very rare conditions, there can be a shifter/gifted hybrid.
POWERS&&ABILITIES Shifter's cannot have powers outside of their own shifting, unless they are a gifted hybrid (and those are few and far between).
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Shifters are generally very strong and can run for long distances in and out of their animal form. They have increased reflexes, jump higher than most and always have a thin frame with decent muscle tone. Shifters tend to have random mood swings that make them angry, overly depressed or exceptionally perky at odd times.
RELATIONSHIPS They can have relationships with anything they tend to like. They cannot have vampire, angel or demon babies however, and rarely can they produce offspring with gifted.

`` VAMPIRES ;

APPEARANCE Generally look like normal humans. Aside from a set of sharp fangs they can show off at will. When the fangs come out the facial features of the vampire darken and become rigid.
HISTORY Vampires have been around for a few centuries, not the oldest things around, but pretty damn old when it comes to the human race. In the younger years of their existence, they did not interact with humans, aside from feeding on them. Now they like to show off their good looks and watch their food from a closer point of view.
HYBRIDS Vampires cannot be half or a quarter something else. They are vampire, plain and simple. In other words, no hybrids.
POWERS&&ABILITIES They can mind control, or compel people to do something without the person being able to fight it. They can also compel people to remember or forget particular things. Shifters, demons and angels are immune to this compulsion. Vampires can also turn humans into them, but at the risk of the human dying if they're not strong enough to handle turning.
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Heightened smell, sight, hearing, strength & speed. Unable to stand in direct sunlight for too long, and particularly allergic to fire and having their head chopped off.
RELATIONSHIPS Vampires cannot reproduce.But they can have a relationship with whomever they desire, so long as they don't, y'know, suck 'em dry.

`` DAEMONS ;

APPEARANCE Demons have two distinct forms. The first form makes them look like a normal human being, aside from their eyes glowing red. Easily fixed by contacts however. Their second form is more... grotesque, basically they float around as a shadowy form of blood, and hate.
HISTORY Demons were created millennia ago, and while most of their history happened below the Earth, demons have been above ground for centuries.
HYBRIDS No, no, annnnnnnd no.
POWERS&&ABILITIES They can possess another's body without needing permission. They can also heal themselves at a much faster rate than humans when they're injured. They can heal or resurrect others, for a price; and the older demons can hear and read people's thoughts.
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Increased speed, strength, and smell. They have an aversion to holy water, and oddly enough pure iron, and salt. Also they can be exercised out of a person they're inhabiting, or just straight back to hell. Immune to infections and diseases.
RELATIONSHIPS Obviously an angel and a demon having a romantic relationship is not normal. But it can happen. Aside from that, they can have a relationship with any other member groups, but offspring will be rare.

`` ANGELS ;

APPEARANCE While angels might have exotic hair and eye colors as well as a set of giant wings on their back, their appearance is generally the same as a human. They're usually much lighter and have stronger muscles in their upper bodies due to flight, and their bones are significantly lighter- they more closely resemble a bird's than a human's in density and build. Their wings come in a rainbow of colors- natural or otherwise. They can feel every feather and their wings are often sensitive to touch.
HISTORY Angels have been around seemingly as long as humans have, maybe longer; they've been in stories and legends for as far back as anybody can remember, and they've always held a place in most religions. Truthfully they are older than most of the other races and were the creators of the original fae.
HYBRIDS While half-human, half-angel hybrids have been rumored to exist in legends and folklore, nobody has ever encountered one and while they're said to exist, they are not permitted on this site.
POWERS&&ABILITIES Angels are nearly immortal. They live for hundreds of thousands of years and won't look like they've aged a day, and as it is it takes decapitation and removal of the heart to destroy only a weaker angel. Stronger, older ones need to be burned to ash; for ones that have been around for a few hundred thousand years, it's been said that even that didn't kill them and merely reduced them to a less than corporeal state of being. Angels' powers start to manifest around 700~900 years old and take centuries more to fully develop. Their abilities will develop with time.
STRENGTHS&&WEAKNESSES Angels are stronger than a human, of course, and some supernaturals depending on their age and ability. A younger angel might not be able to overpower a shifter or vampire, but one with experience certainly could. Since they're given more time to work with, an angels' powers will likely grow more powerful than a gifted's in their lifespan. Decapitation and removal/burning of the organs is a pretty surefire way to kill an angel, though older ones get progressively more annoying. There have been rumors that fel fire can destroy an Angel with just a small drop. But rarely is fel fire seen outside of the underworld.
RELATIONSHIPS They can be in a relationship with anybody, they just can't be making babies with anybody but another angel. Even then it's extremely hard for an angel to produce a child.
