Alex grew up as the youngest of four, and the only girl. She was spoiled by both her parents and her brothers. She was also babied and there always seemed to be a bubble of protection around her. She wasn't allowed to go anywhere by herself, and when she tried she'd be reprimanded. Her family wanted nothing bad to happen to her, and as a result she grew to become very dependent on them. Instead of rebelling against the closeness of her family, she settled into it and allowed herself to be babied. She didn't necessarily enjoy it all the time, but she wasn't much of a fighter, and she loved her family dearly and didn't want to worry them. Her brothers and she grew up very close and they all learned Sign Language together.
In her teen years Alex was the target of a rather nasty group of girls a year above her in school. They poked and prodded her all the time, making faces and sneering at her. They went so far as to lock her in a bathroom where she was stuck for a long time. Being deaf from birth made it impossible for her to make many noises, least of which screaming. She grew very aggressive with her family and with other classmates. Becoming very closed off from everyone, slowly she started to become more and more independent, learning how to take care of herself without the help of anyone.
Alex has always been a very sweet girl, aside from her issues with bullies, and will do just about anything anyone asks. And though she can't speak, she's very sarcastic in her movements when she gets annoyed with people. She'll Sign even though no one understands it, and when they still don't understand what she's trying to say when she points at things, she'll throw her arms up in the air and storm off.

ABILITY/POWER SOUND MANIPULATION Alexandra's ability is very unique. Not only can she see any and all sound waves, she's also learned to manipulate them in a way to collect the waves in front of her like a shield. Along with that she can use the sound waves as an energy blast to get through walls and other such places without much effort. Of course manipulating the sound waves does take a toll on her energy and she has to use it sparingly.
