As a person, Thea is very perceptive. She notices things that other people do not, which makes her a valuable person to have around any group. She has a unique ability to emphasize with people and make them feel better, no matter what. As a informer on the job, she is a totally different person. Manipulative, seductive, and cunning, she can talk her way into and out of almost anyplace. She is as sly as a fox, and very rarely gets caught, making her a valuable asset to the guild.

Thea never knew her parents, the system was funny that way. Apparently, she was found just outside the house of an elderly couple on the outskirts of a small town in Maine. She was found with a blanket with the name Thea on it. The elderly couple turned the child over to the authorities, and from there, Thea was bounced around from foster home to foster home, never really having an actual family.

When the girl was young, she wished and wished for a way to escape the world she hated, wanting nothing more than a white night to come and take her away from whatever house she was in at the time, and make her a princess in a pretty castle far away. And when things started to change for her, when she was the young age of 6, she thought her wish was finally coming true. The changes were random at first, like when she would get surprised, a tail would appear, or when she would get scared, her ears might change. It wasn't until she was 7 that she made her first shift into a full ocelot kitten. From then on, she used her cat form as a means of escape...from the drunken foster parents, from the bullies that were the other children...from her loveless lifestyle.

When Thea was the age of 10, she was placed in a particularly bad foster family; with a drunk of a husband, a drug-addicted wife, and a 4 other children. Thea was always told she was going to grow up into a very pretty girl, and her drunk of a foster father told her every day. He would say things like "I love my pretty flower" and promised he would show her just how pretty she was. Soon enough the day came when her foster father wanted to do rather unfatherly things to her. In the struggle, Thea shifted and mulling the man in the process of escaping. The cat ran from the house, and didn't stop running until her paws were too tired to continue. The formal story was that the foster father was trying t calm the girl down, and Thea took a knife to him before running away. A search was made for the run-away child, but they were never able to find her.

Shifting back and forth between her car form and her human form, Thea took to stealing to survive, sleeping wherever she could, and learning just how crude the world could be.

At the age of 13, Thea was caught by an older-looking woman while robbing a beach house in Northern California. the woman's name was Fiona, and after being forced to join her for a cup of tea, Thea learned that Fiona was like her, her cat form being a white tiger. Refusing to let the girl back out into the world alone, she offered Thea something the girl had never had...a home. And Fiona became a mother-figure to the girl, teaching her, providing for her, and encouraging her to test the limits of her gift all she wanted to.

For a long time, Thea wasn't alone. And when she was 21, Fiona passed away peacefully in her sleep. Through tearful eyes, Thea scattered her ashes into the ocean, par request. And for the second time in her life, she was alone, only better equipped thanks to a large sum of money and a certain northern California beach house that was left to her.
