Abaddon
eight thousand. daemon. bar tender. single. possing as benjamin colfax.

[attr="class","ucw"]FRIENDS: Benjamin is a big ol' teddy bear that likes to keep company with other reckless individuals. Abaddon doesn't have friends. Just those that peak his interests. Abaddon does enjoy discussing the old days and philosophical debates though.

ENEMIES: Benjamin prefers to stay civil with everyone. There are a few people that rub him the wrong way though. Usually those that stiff him on the tip or anyone who insults his beard. Abaddon doesn't have enemies. At least, not for long.

LOVERS: Benjamin isn't opposed to dating. He just hasn't found the right girl. He's had his share of drunken one night stands though. The concept of love is foreign to Abaddon, but it does intrigue him. 

Abaddon is fascinated by the workings of the mortal soul and utterly tired of the trappings of Hell. As such he's abdicated his throne in Hell in order to muddle about with humans, gifted, shifters, and vampires. Going by the moniker "Benjamin Colfax", Abaddon works in a seedy little bar by the name of Flanagan's pretending to be a Gifted, twenty seven year old med school drop out. Abaddon keeps his demonic nature a under wraps and has been doing so far the last two centuries. So, he's fairly good at pretending to pass for human.

Benjamin isn't a false front, but Abaddon distilled and bottled in human form. Essentially what he would have been if he wasn't an eight thousand year old daemon. Ideally, I'd like for a select few to uncover Abaddon's true nature and watch as he and his friends struggle with the revelation. The emotional ties he develops as Benjamin directly influence him as Abaddon and while he's always maintained that he's wanted to understand the human spirit he never thought he might actually begin to replicate it's complexities.

AUSTIN NATHANIEL FLINT and ABADDON
Austin might find his way into the bar that Abaddon works at, and will probably just look like a lonely drunk most of the time. He can also be a ass when he is drunk so might get into it with other's that are there. So they might have met and chatted a bit.

OCTAVIA NOREEN TCHAIKOVSKY ABADDON
Octavia is a sweet little thing, shy, innocent (for the most part) exc.  She was turned into a vampire 5 years ago, so she is appears 17 years old but is really 22. I can just see her having this attraction to Abaddon if she ever met him, though would have no idea how to express it. I'm sure a awkward  conversation would pursue. Plus she would find his beard pretty rad.

AUSTIN NATHANIEL FLINT and ABADDON
"You either need a swift kick or a tall glass."

Benjamin would probably find a drunken Austin to be exasperating, especially if he gets on the nerves of his other customers. On the otherhand, as a man whose experienced a great lose Abaddon would find him particularly interesting. He'd be more than willing to lend a sympathetic ear and try and offer up some sort of solace. Seeing as deep down Abaddon's still a Daemon and still loves to make Faustian bargains he might eventually be willing to come to Austin in his Daemonic form or while possessing someone else and offer him a trade. 

His soul for the lives of those he lost.

Abaddon, in the guise of various creatures and people could torment Austin, urging him to sell his soul for the lives of his family. Just an idea of course and a long ways off. I think further character development is needed for both characters before any sort of bargain like that can be struck. As far as Benjamin, Abaddon's other half, is concerned I could see him eventually warming up to the mythology teacher to the point where he might go from bartender to drinking buddy. While there sober Ben's a pretty stimulating conversationalist whose pretty into mythology, seeing as he lived through the age of myths and actually sparked several of them. 

OCTAVIA NOREEN TCHAIKOVSKY and ABADDON

Benjamin would find Octavia to be utterly adorable if she was enamored with him. He'd definitely reciprocate any sort of attraction, but would be put off by her physical age. Despite that, he would incessantly flirt with the girl, especially if he could get some sort of rise out of her. He would certainly try his best to coax her out of her shell and push her to be a bit more outspoken and adventurous. On a level of friendship he'd be rather warm, almost brotherly to a certain extant if you withhold the flirting. He'd probably try and drag her around on his more dubious adventures and into the late night scene. Seeing as he is what he is Benjamin would have little problems accepting the fact that Octavia is a creature of the night. 

I couldn't say for sure if anything would come of their mutual attraction. While Benny might be able to offer a seemingly more stable relationship than Anton his secret and true nature are definitely much more caustic Abaddon knows little of love and while he's capable of going through the motions and playing as if he is rather well it wouldn't be real. Not in the capacity of what more mortal creatures could bring. It would be him trying just for the sake of having the experience.  If something did come of it it certainly wouldn't last. Though, he may help her get started upon the path of moving on from the creature that turned her. 

[JEDIAH]

So I know we kind of went over some possible threads in the cbox, but here are some ideas:

JEDIAH & ABADDON -- Enemies. More likely than not, even if Abaddon didn't feel that way towards him, Jed would have a hard time being anything but to Abaddon. I don't see anything escalating to a fight, unless Abaddon threatened someone that Jed loved, but there would be some serious tension between the two.

RICHARD BRUCE ASHTON & ABADDON -- Obviously these two would be bff's for ever. Just kidding, pretty sure once Dick figured out who/what Abaddon was he'd be very interested in running him out of town. On the flip side, they could have an interesting bar confessional going on. Especially before Dick figures him out. Because Dick likes to drink, a lot.

MIRABELLA & ABADDON -- Well, we've seen how Mira and Abaddon get along. xD

I have TANYA PEYTON GUATHIE , and JOHN MICHAEL DE LUCA as my other adults. Tanya would be the best for reality TV trash talking, and John would be a good person to go to for some quiet and zen. They both spend a decent amount of time at the school though, or out in the gardens.

[ABADDON]

JEDIAH and ABADDON
"I'd offer to pluck those pesky feathers of your's but it seems someone's beaten me to the punch."

Abaddon would find Jediah's antagonistic relationship and hatred rather comedic. He's long ago left behind any animosity towards angels. While he regards them to be a step above the younger creatures he finds them to be much too rigid and set in their ways. Abaddon, without a doubt, would goad Jediah into any sort of confrontation just for, as the kids say, the "lolz". Since he's still trying to maintain the guise of Benjamin he wouldn't do something as reckless as threatening anyone close to Jediah, mostly focus on the man himself. Though, it could come to the point where Jediah eventually tries to hold Abaddon's secret over his head causing some sort of stalemate between the two of them. 

If anything we could always have some history between the two. Abaddon is rather well known among the angels and daemons having been close to the daemon equivalent of a general when the war between the two was at it's peak. Both of them were fighting that war at roughly the same time and Abaddon was already well established by the time Jediah was born. 

RICHARD BRUCE ASHTON and ABADDON
"Dick,"

I'm sure that Dick would eventually discover Abaddon's nasty little secret and he'd love for him to try and run him out of town. Before that happens though I could see them getting along quite well. Dick's definitely the kind of person that Benjamin is interested in paling around with seeing as they have so many things in common. This friendship probably wouldn't last terribly long though. Once Abaddon has been found out he'd be in a similar situation with Dick knowing fully well what he is, if not exactly who and how old he is. If things ever got too bad for Abaddon he'd try and make a deal with the Hunter. Abaddon, in the olden days, was well known for becoming someone's familiar or becoming beholden to them. He could offer up a similar service operating as a walking encyclopedia on all things supernatural and ancient. If Dick opts not to go this route or try and find a more civil way to settle their grievances Abaddon's next tactic will be returning to Hell, reclaiming his titles, rallying his Furies, and raining holy hell fire down upon his head, his guild's heads, his family's heads, and generally anyone whose ever so much as looked at Dick.  

MIRABELLA and ABADDON

TANYA PEYTON GUATHIE and ABADDON
"I do believe you're the most bubbly person I've ever met and I've met a lot of people."

Tanya would be an oddity to Abaddon. He's interested in the good in people and to find someone so willing to do good things with nothing in return is like finding a four leaf clover. Seeing as she's the most human person that Abaddon is likely to encounter he'd be able to truly get the full human experience around her. They'd probably talk about silly things like reality tv, work, and just their days in general. Abaddon also enjoys sappy movies, anything Jordan Sparks has written and anything Ryan Gosling stars in, so if she's into that he'd be up for some sort of marathon. If the two do actually become friends it would be pretty interesting to see her reaction to finding out that this seeming nice guy is a Daemon whose been corrupting mankind for nearly eight millenniums.

@ignacio -- Clearly they're probably going to be friendly XD Because old guys need friends.

@twitch -- Twitch lingers at bars so he'd probably catch Abaddon's eye just by showing up late at night and drinking almost nothing but tipping well (kind of like how people tip the bartender even if they're just drinking water). Twitch isn't much of a confession type, but something might happen. Feel free to be mean to him.

@kat -- I DON'T KNOW but I think they could be hilarious.
