Caje is tall, lean, and handsome. He enjoys feeling sore at the end of the day because it makes him feel that he's actually accomplished something. Manual labor is his fortay, and Caje isn't afraid to admit he's pretty good with his hands. Anywhere and everywhere. He's the kind of guy who would rather build a building then sit in an office in a suit and tie all day. He likes being able to work with his shirt off, building the muscles in his legs and arms to keep him fit and ready for anything. And even though Caje likes to show off his cute farm boy-ish looks and charm, and works his ass off all day, he does keep a pretty sharp head on his shoulders. One that he isn't afraid to use in a debate, and one he keeps fully stocked with stubbornness.

Aside from working all day, Caje does enjoy sitting around and reading romance novels, playing the piano or guitar and writing his own music. He has a pretty decent voice when he really tries too. And that tends to get him his own following of fan girls. Tall, hot, good with his hands and romantic? It earns him a reputation for being a wonderful, sensitive guy that makes all the girls' swoon. Which is true, but Caje doesn't like having flings, and he's waiting for that right person to come along that's worth his effort to get. And once he finds her, it won't be easy for them to shake him off. He does like to be seen as the nice, sensitive guy though, because there's another side to Caje that he keeps hidden from the rest of the world. His Hunter side.

As a Hunter, he has to be able to turn off his emotions at will. He's one of the people who goes out and beats those with abilities into submission. He doesn't have the stomach for that kind of nonsense, so he has left that part of his life behind to join Dick's guild. Where he's still a Hunter, but he protects people instead of injuring them. He likes being able to protect people rather than hurt them, it's more his nature.

He also likes to bake. But that's another story.

Caje was born to Vivian and Obin Cannarsa in a small shack on the coastlines of Tahiti. Caje's mother skipped out on his father when he was only a few months old, leaving a fisherman, with no knowledge on how to raise a kid, to raise a newborn with jaundice. Being a single father, Obin didn't know what to teach Caje about life, aside from manual labor and how to work hard and feel good about it. Caje didn't mind being raised by his father, he enjoyed working on boats and spending time with his father. They moved to the small island of Tasmania, and neither of them had any sort of "big dreams", neither of them wanted to venture from the island, nor did they want to know what else was out there in the big-bad-world. So they both stayed put on the island.

He learned at a young age that he had some control over water. He noticed it while taking baths, he'd create vortexes and cause all kind of mischief that made his father wonder just what happened while the door was closed. Eventually, Caje showed his father just what he could do, and although his father was weirded out by the power, he didn't care much as it made gathering fish much easier.

When Caje turned nine, his father decided to take the boat that the two had worked on for years out onto the ocean to see how it handled the water. It worked great, the sails were in perfect ratio to the length of the ship, and it was high enough above the water that their weight didn't sink it and was long enough for the two to fit comfortably in it. They didn't, however, take into account the pirate ships. Yes, pirates. Not the ones who wore giant hats and yelled ARRRRGH as they charged your ship. More like Somalian pirates who took over ships of all sizes and stole whatever they could from the people and left them for dead by the end of it. And that's pretty much what happened to Caje and his father. They wandered too far north into international waters, and the pirates rode up on their flank. They shot Obin, leaving him for dead on the boat as they took Caje to sell into slavery. (There really was a market for that in those days.)

Fortunately for Caje, the Somalian ship was overrun by one of the Navy ships out of Australia. Caje was saved, but unfortunately they were too late to save his father. Caje was thrown into foster care, but quickly left, unwilling to have strangers raise him when he could do perfectly fine by himself. It just so happened that he drew the unwanted attention of a Hunter's Guild. He was brought in and trained in the ways of the ninja, or you know, the Hunter.

A few years into his training he learned just what it was that Hunters did, and needless to say, he didn't agree with it. So Caje, being who Caje is, fled. Into the brash but open arms of Dick and his Guild. Caje felt more at home here, being a protector instead of a killer. And feeling grateful for Dick's protection and employment, he followed Dick all the way to Brookings.

Water Manipulation Caje can control water to a certain extent. He has had a love of water since pretty much his birth and the fact that he can move and contort water fits him quite well. He can't do to terribly much, but he can move water around with a wave of his hand, and has been able to concentrate hard enough to form a bubble around himself. It takes a lot of concentration and he rarely uses tries to do much with it. He just enjoys being able to play with water more than other people.
